Hyundai launches Ioniq 6 NFTs, introduces Ioniq 6 Citizenship

Each of the Ioniq 6 NFTs has unique art, created in a generative format that randomly combines various backgrounds, exterior colors, and objects that can result in tens of thousands of combinations.
The NFT backgrounds represent Ioniq 6’s mindful interior space and are inspired by the newly-implemented Dual Color Ambient Lighting, available in the recently-launched EV.
Hyundai Motor distributed the Ioniq 6 NFT Collection by airdrop for free rather than sales to lower the barrier to entry for more people to participate in the unique experiences.

Hyundai also launched the Ioniq Citizenship, an NFT membership program that provides Ioniq 6 NFT owners with exclusive experiences and utilities. Per Hyundai, Ioniq Citizenship aims to expand the realm of unique electrified customer experiences provided by the Ioniq lineup to the digital space that has no physical limitations.
Ioniq Citizenship members get to enjoy exclusive access to digital spaces, special digital content, and physical items related to the Ioniq 6. Some utilities may vary by rarity.
Hyundai plans to expand the innovative Ioniq 6 experiences through various partnerships, starting with virtual fashion items giveaways and exclusive VIP access on “Planet Hyundai,” Hyundai Motor's virtual space that opened on Zepeto, the global metaverse platform, last week in collaboration with Naver Z.
The evolving car brand adds that owners will have the opportunity to redeem a gift card for a physical custom phone case from NFTYC(NFT Your Case), the world’s first NFT phone case manufacturer, a part of global tech accessory brand CASETiFY.
Then the company will gradually offer an interactive virtual space for a holder exclusive event, “Ioniq Digital Garage,” for NFT holders.
