Hyundai Motor Group promotes Busan’s bid to host World Expo 2030
Hyundai Motor Group has thrown its support to the South Korean city of Busan that will host the 2030 World Expo.

Per the Hyundai Motor Group, the Genesis X concept is currently on display at 2023 WEF.At the ongoing World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Hyundai Motor Group operates a fleet of 58 vehicles wrapped with Busan’s World Expo 2030 logo to promote the city to the world political and business leaders attending the forum, as well as to Swiss citizens, and other visitors.
The abovementioned fleet includes 45 eco-friendly models made up of the following: 18 Genesis Electrified G80, eight Genesis GV60, four Genesis Electrified GV70, and 15 Hyundai Santa Fe plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Per Hyundai, the fleet will be used as the official transportation for the forum’s Korean delegates and will also function as moving billboards to promote Busan as the host city for the World Expo 2030.
Should any vehicle from the aforementioned fleet require assistance, the Hyundai Motor Group has arranged for a dedicated technical team on site.
Further, the vehicles are equipped with all-wheel drivetrains and winter tires.
In addition, the Hyundai Motor Group has set up dedicated electric vehicle charging stations near event venues along with Hyundai Ioniq 5 units to provide emergency charging using the model’s vehicle-to-load feature.
The Genesis X concept is also being presented in the ongoing WEF. It is placed in a transparent container at the entrance of the event hall hosting “Korea Night.”

The Hyundai Motor Group also promoted the city of Busan’s bid at the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) General Assembly in Paris in June and November last year, with fleet vehicles wrapped with the Busan World Expo logo.
