Hyundai Motor Group urges startups to join ZER01NE Accelerator program
Hyundai Motor Group announced the second half of its ZER01NE Accelerator program, an open innovation platform that aims to facilitate collaboration between startups and Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation on various projects.

Results of qualified startups will be announced in September.The ZER01NE Accelerator program was first introduced in 2018. Back then, some 115 startups, as well as 125 teams from 11 affiliates of the Hyundai Motor Group, worked together on 97 collaborative projects. About 54 startups successfully received equity investments from the corporation.
The South Korean automotive conglomerate urges startups to become a part of this initiative and join the Hyundai Motor Group’s growing network.
According to Hyundai Motor Group, interested startups can apply to one of 20 projects derived by the firm’s internal teams under six key themes: energy, mobility, logistics, construction, smart factory, and materials. Each startup is limited to one specific project.
The consortium's organizations that are responsible for technology developments are directly involved in reviewing and recruiting the applicants for each project. Only registered corporations will be eligible for consideration and can submit their application on the official application website from July 7 to 29. Results will be announced in September.
Selected startups will be provided with a project development budget and could be evaluated for equity investments.
