Hyundai Motor PH announces Stargazer's arrival on Nov. 8, reservations now open

The company said that the Hyundai Stargazer will have an introductory price of P998 for its base trim.According to the Korean brand, local arm, the aforementioned multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) will be available in the brand’s authorized dealerships in the country starting November 8.
Following the declaration of the Hyundai Stargazer’s arrival, the company said that customers may reserve a unit for it beginning today.
In an earlier interview, HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete shared to Carmudi Philippines that the introduction of the said model — which will be rivalling the likes of Mitsubishi Xpander, Suzuki Ertiga, Nissan Livina, and Toyota Avanza — will be done within the year.
After its debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in Jakarta last August, HMPH will be the second distributor that will offer the nameplate.
HMPH said that the soon-to-be-revealed Hyundai Stargazer will come in three variants: the GL, GLS and GLS Premium — all powered by the 1.5-liter Smartstream gasoline engine mated to an intelligent variable transmission. The aforementioned powertrain combination, based on company literature, can provide as much as 113 horsepower and nearly 144Nm of torque.
The seven-seater Hyundai Stargazer is set to allure customers with its futuristic styling, as expressed through the horizontal LED daytime running lights (DRL) and positioning lamps in front as well as the unique H-shaped lights in the rear that complements the one curve silhouette.
Buyers can also expect a classy and roomy cabin as the vehicle boasts the largest-in-class wheelbase with flexible seating configurations. It also has a variety of storage spaces such as the hidden dashboard tray, seatback table and headrest bag hook.
The upcoming model also comes with a host of safety features such as the Hyundai Smart Sense, the brand’s advanced driver assistance system that includes collision avoidance, blind spot detection, tire pressure monitoring and rear occupant alert.
The Hyundai Stargazer is fitted with a 4.2-inch TFT LCD cluster that is synced with every drive mode along with the infotainment system that is Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatible.
According to HMPH, the vehicle will be offered at an introductory price of P998,000 for its base trim.
