Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has unveiled a nine-seater variant of the Staria luxury van, which coincided with the launch of the Custin and Stargazer X multi-purpose vehicles.
New features offered by the people carrier include swivel chairs for the second-row occupants as well as captain seats for those who will stay in the third and fourth row. All the seats are finished in leather.
It also gets a steering wheel with multi-functional controls swathed in the same premium hide.
HMPH revealed that the nine-seater Hyundai Staria gets similar features as the nameplate’s top-of-the-line seven-seater model.
The said features include dual LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, large windows and side mirrors, as well as a power tailgate.
Notable interior features come in the form of a one-touch power sunroof, power sliding doors, a wireless charger, and Bose speakers with surround sound system.
Additionally, it comes with a 10.25-inch Supervision digital meter cluster as well as an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Propulsion comes from a 2.2-liter diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. On paper, the said setup makes a maximum of 115 horsepower and 430 Newton-meters of torque.
Sitting under the range-topping trim, the nine-seater Hyundai Staria is priced at P2.83 million.
