Hyundai PH inaugurates Hyundai Assembly Center in Laguna
From being the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has entered into the vehicle assembly business by recently inaugurating the Hyundai Assembly Center (HAC) at the Laguna Technopark in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
"We take quality and excellence seriously at Hyundai," said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo at the assembly plant's inauguration. "And it could not be more evident than in our operations at the Hyundai Assembly Center, where quality and excellence are a standard by which all workmanship is shaped. This is how we are able to guarantee seamless methods, efficient service, and products of superior value--the very things that every Filipino deserves."
Joining Perez-Agudo at the launch ceremony were executives of Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea, the board of directors HARI, and representatives of the company’s expansive dealer network, with a guided tour of the production facility following immediately after.
According to HARI, over a hundred technical experts using the latest equipment ensure that the production of the vehicles "conform to the highest quality standards."
Currently being assembled at the plant are the Hyundai Eon micro hatchback and the Hyundai H350 commercial vehicle, with the latest batch of assembled vehicles greeting the visitors during the HAC guided tour.
"With the opening of the HAC, HARI affords Filipino consumers better access to their models of choice, while generating jobs and promoting skill enhancement," HARI said in a statement. "This expansion in the HARI business portfolio is seen to trigger a dramatic increase in passenger car and commercial vehicle sales and boost the growth of the automotive industry in the ASEAN region."
