Improved road in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan to boost local tourism
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has upgraded sections of the Eastern Bulacan Road in Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT).

Dubbed as Bulacan’s "Last Frontier", the aforementioned area hosts a combination of man-made landmarks, resort getaways, and natural wonders such as the Puning Cave in Brgy. Bayabas, Secret Falls in Barangay Camachile, Candle Monument in Barangay Camachin, Tila-Pilon Hills in Barangay Kalawakan, Verdivia Falls in Barangay Talbak, and the Caribbean Waves Resort in Barangay Pulong Sampaloc.
Bonoan said that the completion of the road rehabilitation and preventive maintenance projects assures more convenient and safer access to DRT’s top tourist destinations to encourage travelers from nearby areas, particularly Metro Manila, to explore the town’s many attractions.
“The boost in tourism brought about by ease of travel in the town is also expected to open more economic opportunities for DRT residents,” Bonoan said.
The projects, which have a total allocation of P96.5 million, were implemented by the DPWH Bulacan Second District Engineering Office (DEO).
