According to the transportation secretary, the supplier is set to deliver more than 5,000 license cards every week up to 5.2 million cards by the end of the year.
Earlier, Bautista said that supply for the driver’s license cards will normalize by September this year — with up to 130,000 unissued cards expected to be received by motorists.
He also said that those who have not received the plastic card type may see the copy of their driver’s licenses online via the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) portal.
In addition, Bautista said that motorists who also carry paper licenses may get license cards by August or September.
