Hyundai dealerships in Alabang, Commonwealth Avenue, Makati, and Pasig will be the first four dealerships that shall retail N models in the country.Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated (HMPH) announced the arrival of the examples following the sub-brand’s introduction at the Manila International Auto Show 2024 wherein the Elantra N and Ioniq 5 N were showcased to the public.
The motorsport-bred offerings carry the division’s performance-based core values: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car.
Under the hood of the Hyundai Elantra N is a 2.0 turbocharged gasoline engine which has maximum output of 276 horsepower (hp) and 392 Newton-meters of torque. Equipped with the N Launch Control, the car can go zero-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 5.3 seconds.
The vehicle has a pop and bang sound when upshifting under Sport or N drive modes. The N Grin Shift helps the Hyundai Elantra N reach maximum acceleration and gives a 10-hp boost in certain driving conditions for up to 20 seconds.
Offered in Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Cyber Gray Metallic and Performance Blue color options, the Hyundai Elantra N wears a P2.738 million-price tag.
On the other hand, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is powered by an all-wheel drive system made up of front and rear motors with N Grin Boost that dishes out a peak delivery of 641 horses. The powertrain is paired with an 84-kilowatt-hour battery pack.
Retailed for P4.25 million, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N with the same hues for the Elantra N — with the addition of the Performance Blue Matte.
Earlier, Capacete told Carmudi Philippines that the waiting period for the two models —available via indent orders — is up to three months.
4 dealerships to retail N models
HMPH also announced the four official N dealers for the country namely Hyundai Alabang, Commonwealth Avenue, Makati, and Pasig.
