In its half a century of existence, the Nissan Patrol name has assured its users with years of reliability mixed with all-terrain prowess and a sprinkling of luxury. The old Patrol Super Safari took care of the rough-and-tumble, while the fresher Patrol Royale was made for comfier journeys.
As such, the Patrol Royale has been outfitted with shinier exterior decor, such as pearlized paint and chrome bits, which all match the grand atmosphere of the interior. Available at a princely sum of P3.998 million, the Patrol Royale's cabin should indeed be a good fit for a king or queen.
Because of the Patrol Royale's width, eight members of the upper crust can be accommodated in its seats. Three people can seat abreast in the second and rearmost pew. Good legroom for occupants front, middle, and rear is also a result of the 3,075-millimeter wheelbase.
The Patrol Royale's NVH technologies are said ensure that no outside noise can ruffle one's feathers. A triple-zone climate control, matched with Nissan's signature AC systems, keep those feathers from wilting in the heat. Chrome and wood trims remind the passengers what they paid for.
With a 2GB music hard drive and a 13-speaker Bose audio, the Patrol Royale is a jukebox on wheels. Seven inch screens mounted on the front seat headrests can play DVDs, or flash the gameplay from gaming consoles.

Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control give additional control and flexibility in different terrain, while six airbags positioned at the front, side of the seats and windows are ready for the worst.
The Patrol Royale is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 gasoline mill, which produces 400hp and 560Nm of torque. Its automatic transmission uses seven speeds. Its four-wheel drive is in keeping with what the nameplate is known for.
