Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) brought the second-generation BR-V to local shores soon after it was previewed at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show.
Pretty much like other Honda cars that came before it, the second-gen Honda BR-V offered a more mature look that made it more appealing to most Filipino car buyers.
But what about its interior? That said, we’re taking a look inside the cabin of the second-generation Honda BR-V, to help you decide if this subcompact crossover fits your motoring needs.
Honda has fitted the range-topping variant of the second-generation Honda BR-V with a handful of leather appointments. They can be found on the seats, the armrests, the multi-functional steering wheel, and on the shift knob.
The leather materials used on these surfaces provide the cabin of the second-generation Honda BR-V with firm yet comfortable touch points. The seats in particular feel good and appear to keep its occupants restful and cozy, even during long drives.
The black hide also gives the interior of the second-generation Honda BR-V a premium look as it effectively elevates the vibe of the cabin. Further, it makes the seats and other surfaces even easier to clean as stains don’t usually stick to the leather material.
The interior of the VX variant flaunts a two-tone finish. Highlighted, especially on the first row are piano black and silver accents. Silver appliques over a black backdrop are noticeable on the dashboard, the steering wheel, the center console, and on the door trims.
Silver panel garnishes are found on the mid-range V and S (CVT) trims while the base S (M/T) variant don black interior trims.
Inside the cabin of the second-generation Honda BR-V is a host of decent in-car technology.
For example, past the aforementioned steering wheel is a 4.2-inch full-color thin-film transistor instrument cluster. A little to its side is a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Audio is sent to four or six speakers, depending on the variant of course.
The top-of-the-line variant also gets automatic air conditioning, accessory sockets on all rows, plus, a keyless entry system. Nice!
The interior of the second-generation Honda BR-V does provide Filipino families with a decent space while on the road. And with the variations offered by each grade, we’re sure that you can find an interior setup that perfectly fits your needs.
