While Ford has been more popular for nameplates like the Ranger and the Mustang, the American car company has also produced several utility vehicles like the Ford Transit.
It was initially sold as a cargo van but thanks to its versatility, it has now evolved into a crowd carrier that’s simply a cut above the rest.

While most of today’s passenger vans will offer seating for 15 or more, none of them offers as much room as the Ford Transit.
Dimension-wise, Ford’s 15-seater van is 5,981mm long, 2,474mm wide, and 2,517mm tall.
Although passengers, especially heavily-built ones, might find themselves rubbing their elbows with other commuters, they’ll have plenty of head and legroom.
Its roomy cabin also contributes to better air ventilation as the roof of the passenger van does not sit too close to the passengers’ heads.
Speaking of which, it’s got manual air-conditioning but with climate control at the rear. Passengers will feel comfortable on both long and short trips.
The Ford Transit may be a utility van through and through, but it doesn’t mean that it should be deprived of basic entertainment amenities. Ford packs the Transit with an audio head with AM and FM radio, Aux-in, USB, and Bluetooth.
Audio is delivered to six speakers.
There are also audio controls found on the Transit’s steering wheel so you can skip that track all without taking your hands off the wheel.
That roomy interior has its other benefits aside from allowing passengers to stretch their arms and legs. The Ford Transit has plenty of storage spaces for both large and small items alike.
Inside are 12 cup and bottle holders (six at the front and six at the rear), front overhead stowage bins, and a decent-sized glovebox bin.
