Isuzu bags accolades at 2021-2022 Auto Focus People's Choice and Media Choice Awards

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) expressed gratitude over the numerous awards received at the recently-concluded 2021-2022 Auto Focus People's Choice Awards (AFPCA) and Media Choice Awards (AFMCA).

The all-new Isuzu D-Max was hailed as the 2021-2022 AFPCA Automobile of The Year, besting 140 models that are part of the official entry list composed of sedans, sports cars, sport utility vehicles (SUV)/crossovers, vans/multi-purpose vehicles (MPV), and pick-up trucks.

The aforementioned model (which was introduced in March this year) was also honored with the Pickup of the Year award.

Further, the all-new Isuzu D-Max topped other competitors in three categories at the AFMCA, taking the Best Design, Best Engine Performance and Best Value-for-Money awards. 

Meanwhile, its SUV sibling — the all-new mu-X — is the 2021-2022 AFPCA SUV of the Year. The latest version, to note, was only launched last September.

We could not have done it without you," IPC President Hajime Koso said in a statement.

Now on its 17th edition, the annual award-giving ceremony is organized by Sunshine Television and Marketing Services, Inc. (STV).
