Isuzu, Cummins to test battery-electric truck prototypes in North America
In a recent press release, Isuzu Motors Limited and Cummins, Inc. announced that they have come to an agreement to create a prototype medium-duty battery-electric truck. Isuzu said that the truck will represent the first zero-emissions solution from Isuzu Cummins Powertrain Partnership (ICPP).

This collaboration will see a prototype Isuzu F-Series truck equipped with the Cummins PowerDrive6000 to be demonstrated in North America. Following the demonstration and pilot phase, Isuzu will explore opportunities to commercialize medium-duty battery-electric trucks with Cummins-powered powertrain systems across North America.
