Isuzu maintains PH truck industry leadership for 23 years

The Isuzu N-Series was the main driver in IPC's truck sales for 2022, selling 2,952 examples last year.Based on the joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA), the Japanese marque’s local arm dominated the commercial vehicle segment after delivering 4,680 units to owners in the full 12 months of 2022. IPC cornered 46.4-percent of the market with the aforementioned sales performance.
IPC attributed its latest sales figures last year on the strong demand for the Isuzu N-Series in Category III (light-duty trucks), selling 2,952 examples and holding 55.3 percent market share. Aside from that, IPC also exhibited good performance both in Category IV (medium-duty trucks) and Category V (heavy-duty trucks).
According to IPC, the brand’s dominance in the country for more than two decades is due to Isuzu’s world-class quality products combined with the excellent aftersales support offered through its vast dealer network around the country.
The company also noted that its continuously enhancing its dealer facilities, as well as the knowledge and skills of dealer personnel to ensure that it gives customers topnotch service. As part of its vow on being a responsible partner to customers, IPC has also been offering proper training to Isuzu truck owners and drivers to help them maximize their workhorse to gain more profit for their business.
