Isuzu PH completes P1-M donation target to hospitals
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has completed its P1-million cash donation target to select hospitals in various regions in the country.

The two hospitals each receive P250,000.In a statement, the Japanese vehicle manufacturer’s local distributor said that the remainder of the pledged amount went to Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City and Dumarao Medicare Hospital (DMH) in Capiz.
The turnover ceremonies were done separately with IPC Assistant Vice President for Administration Imelda Bernas and IPC Sales Assistant Division Head Robert Carlos spearheading the official handovers for the two facilities.
To note, the company initially donated P250,000 each to Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan De Oro and Irosin District Hospital in Sorsogon.
The aforementioned series of donations were part of the company’s “Road to Progress” vision launched during the IPC’s 25th anniversary in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The initiative is also in line with the firm’s “Your Responsible Partner” tagline.
According to IPC, the donation for the state-run hospital in Quezon City (which specializes in pediatrics) will be utilized to put up a shed on the waiting area.
Meanwhile, DMH will use the donation to purchase more medical supplies and medicines for their patients.
“We are glad that we are able to extend assistance to different hospitals nationwide through this Road to Progress donation project. As the Filipino’s responsible partner, our goal here is to be able to give back to the community, particularly those that are in dire need of assistance. Together with our dealers, we hope to uplift the life of many more Filipinos with our projects in line with our renewed vision,” Bernas was quoted as saying.
