Isuzu PH hands over cash donation to NKTI
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) recently donated P250,000 to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) in time for this year's World Kidney Day celebration.

Isuzu Philippines gave the amount last March 9.According to the Japanese vehicle manufacturer’s local distributor, the aforementioned amount was turned over last March 9, which is the last day of NKTI’s four-day World Kidney program. IPC Assistant Vice President for Administration Imelda Bernas and Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos graced the program to officially hand over the cash donation.
The turnover followed a string of monetary gift-giving activities to various medical institutions in line with its “Road to Progress” vision announced during the company’s 25th inaugural anniversary last year.
In her speech, Bernas lauded NKTI’s initiatives that support the global campaign. “As Filipinos’ “responsible partner”, Isuzu Philippines is honored to provide support to this global movement,” she said.
NKTI Medical Social Service Division Chief Leonides Basada explained that the cash donation will be used for the medical needs of NKTI’s indigent patients.
“We are very thankful for Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s benevolent act. The P250,000-cash donation will mean a lot to our dialysis and transplant patients. It will be a big assistance in their everyday medical expenses,” Basada noted.
