Isuzu PH now 25 years old, shares ‘Road to Progress’ goal

IPC 25th celebration

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has celebrated its 25 years of business in the country.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What does Isuzu Philippines Corporation want to achieve through its new vision?

The vision is aimed at realigning its business process through a new perspective focused on environmental, social and governance aspects.
  • How will Isuzu dealerships follow the new goal?

Isuzu dealers in the country are encouraged to switch to renewable energy too.
  • During the anniversary celebration (which was held at SMX Convention Center, Pasay last week), IPC President Noboru Murakami expressed gratitude towards shareholders, dealers and business partners who contributed to IPC’s success

“The main reason why IPC has attained these countless achievements throughout the years is because we have the unwavering support of each and every one of you,” Murakami said.

Aside from celebrating its 25th-year anniversary, IPC also shared the company’s plans on adhering to the sustainable development goals through the company’s new vision: “Road To Progress,” which is going to be the underlying motive of their business activities and goals moving forward.

In his presentation, Murakami explained that IPC’s new vision is targeted to realign its business process “through a new perspective" that is focused on environmental, social and governance aspects.

IPC noted that one of the IPC’s initiatives to protect the environment is shifting its manufacturing plant’s energy source from coal power plant to renewable sources to reduce carbon emission.

Further, the Japanese marque’s local distributor is urging its dealer partners to follow suit in switching to renewable energy in the coming years, envisioning lower carbon footprint for the entire local Isuzu network.
