With around a month to go before its supposed launch, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has released a teaser image of the all-new Isuzu mu-X.
The local arm of the Japanese vehicle manufacturer posted over its social media page and its company website the grille of the latest version of the much-anticipated SUV offering.
This move reinforces the information relayed to Carmudi Philippines that the model will be launched late third quarter this year.
Based on the information relayed back in late July, the local introduction is slated to be held “sometime between August to September... What’s sure is that it will not reach October,” the source added.
However, given that the country is now on stricter lockdown due to the surge of COVID-19 cases, the possibility of its scheduled virtual launch could also be affected.
The forthcoming iteration of the mu-X, which was already in retail in Thailand since November last year, is expected to enjoy similar updates found on the all-new Isuzu D-Max.
Aside from the grille layout, the mu-X is expected to feature a new exterior and cabin design as well as Advance Driver Assist System (ADAS) technology.
The Thai-spec mu-X is fitted with saddle brown leather seats, ambient lights and a refreshed dashboard design for its interiors.
Further, the upcoming version of the mu-X will receive both the 3.0 liter 4JJ-TCX (3.0liter Ddi Blue Power) and the 1.9 RZ4E-TC (1.9 Blue Power Gen 2) engines.
Moreover, the Isuzu mu-X carries six hues as far as the neighboring country is concerned: Marrakech Sugar, White Dolomite Pearl, Red Atna, Black Bavarian Mica, Iceberg Money and Bohemian Silver Metallic.
