Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has recently turned over a
small fleet of D-Max pickups and QKR trucks to
Solid Trend Trade Sales Inc. of the
Excel Trend Group of Companies.
Last August 2, IPC delivered
seven brand-new Isuzu D-Max pickups and
one QKR truck in Sucat, Paranaque City.
Excel Trend Group of Companies is the exclusive distributor of the renowned Maxxis, CST, and Michelin Tires in the Philippines.
During the turnover,
IPC Vice President Yasuhiko Oyama expressed elation over the purchase of the Isuzu vehicles.
"We are very honored to be providing the Excel Trend Group of Companies their latest Isuzu D-MAX and QKR. We believe that this is going to be the first step toward an upgraded logistic system of Solid Trend Trade Sales Inc," said Oyama.
"We thank the Excel Trend Group of Companies for trusting IPC in providing them their first fleet of Isuzu vehicles. We are confident that aside from providing a more durable and reliable transport and logistics solution, we also guarantee that we will be providing the best service assistance they need," he added.
Jaybee Atanacio, sales director for the Excel Trend Group of Companies, said that the Isuzu vehicles would play key roles in the company's efficient operations.
"We chose Isuzu because we believe in the product that provides durability and at the same time fuel efficiency. This, in turn, makes our company perform better and cuts cost in our operations," said Atanacio.
He also disclosed that the Isuzu D-Max would be used by the fleet sales and regional managers in Luzon and Mindanao for their fieldwork and customer visits.
The Isuzu D-Max comes from a long line of Isuzu's tough and reliable trucks spanning nearly a century.
With its
Blue Power-developed engines, the pickup also provides
truck-levels of strength, durability, and rigidity with its
high-tensile steel frame chassis and cabin. The D-Max also
meets ASEAN safety standards.
On the other hand, the Isuzu QKR truck is the tough, compact, and reliable business partner. Powerful, practical, and price competitive, the compact cab carries the
4JH1-TC Euro4-compliant Blue Power engine that generates a maximum power output of
104.5 hp and
230 Nm of torque.
Its reinforced chassis frame is capable of carrying up to a gross vehicle weight of four tons to drive businesses forward.
