Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has completed its turnover of units to Shopee Xpress Philippines Inc. (SPX).
Without sharing the exact number, the Japanese truck distributor said that it has turned over the second batch of Isuzu NMR85H aluminum vans through its dealer-partner in Pasig, the Isuzu Automotive Dealership, Inc. (IADI).
The turnover ceremony was spearheaded by outgoing IPC President Noboru Murakami, SPX Philippines Director Martin Yu, IADI Chief Operating Officer Alex Paguio, and Isuzu Pasig Branch Manager Eric Wambangco.
During the handover rites, Murakami expressed his gratitude towards Shopee for the continued trust and confidence in the brand’s products.
“As the number one truck brand in the country, we always make sure that the quality of products and services that we provide are top notch. So, we assure you that we will continue to support Shopee on Aftersales to lessen downtime and to increase profit to your business,” Murakami said.
To note, the Isuzu NMR85H is powered by a 4JJI-TC engine. IPC said that its 14-foot rear body length and 4,490-kilogram gross vehicle weight capacity "perfectly match the requirement of safely carrying a high volume of cargo."
Further, the truckmaker guarantees aftersales support to SPX as well as with its other fleet customers.
