After being introduced in the local market late 2021, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) immediately gave the mu-X a fresh look.
In a statement, the Japanese automaker said that the latest iteration of its sport utility vehicle is aimed to provide next-level driving experience to Filipino families.
On the outside, the new Isuzu mu-X wears a two-tone front grille and 20-inch alloy wheels. Apart from that, the company said that the vehicle can now be had in Norwegian Blue body color.
Further, the new Isuzu mu-X now comes with the Smart Power Tailgate with Step Sensor — a new feature that allows its owners to open its tailgate automatically through its advanced key detection and sensor technology, making it more convenient for owners to load and unload their baggage.
Moreover, the spruced-up mu-X continues to enjoy advanced driver assist system (ADAS) technologies that made the vehicle earn a five-star rating in the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP).
The aforementioned ADAS functions are:
“The latest edition of the Isuzu mu-X with its new premium styling and smart features does not compromise the vehicle’s core value of durability, reliability, fuel efficiency and five-star safety. We think it is this complete package that will truly elevate the driving experience of Filipino families nationwide,” IPC President Tetsuya Fujita was quoted as saying.
To note, the said model comes in five variants — powered by either the 4JJ3-TCX turbo engine or the more fuel-efficient powertrain RZ4E-TC.
