The Isuzu Subic is under Velocity Motor Sales Corporation.Owned and managed by Velocity Motor Sales Corporation (VMSC), the Isuzu Subic wears the Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS) design that fully showcases aesthetic and functional layout and expresses the brand’s new identity.
The creation of the newly-completed Isuzu Subic started with the groundbreaking ceremonies in August 2019 followed by the virtual contract signing in May last year.
The 5,000 square-meter sales facility — which is part of the “IPC’s Road to 50” target — is equipped with a showroom that can fit five vehicles and a service area that has the capacity to accommodate eight light commercial vehicles and two commercial vehicles.
Further, the latest addition to the Isuzu dealer network also has a wash bay and wheel alignment facility, and slots for body repair and paint works.
According to IPC, the new facility will greatly contribute “to a more seamless automotive retail experience for both customers and dealership personnel.”
During the ceremony, outgoing IPC President Hajime Koso expressed delight over the opening of the Isuzu Subic. The aforementioned dealership inauguration will probably be the last under Koso's term in the country.
“As we open our doors in this area, we vow to support the region’s vision to be an industrial heartland. With our ever reliable and durable trucks, businesses in the area can count on Isuzu to power their logistical requirements. With our dealer principal’s commitment to providing utmost customer service, we can assure the province of a long-lasting relationship with our customers moving forward,” Koso said.
For his part, Isuzu Subic President Jason Hao is excited over the product of the partnership with IPC.
“Our company, together with the unending support and guidance of IPC, would be honored to work hand in hand with the leaders of Subic Bay Freeport Zone and its nearby town’s leaders by providing the right vehicle for each and every customer. For us, there is no such thing as big or small customers. We will make sure to value everyone because as the saying goes, ‘We are happy to serve you,” he said.
Meanwhile, VMSC Chairman Jeffrey Hao echoed Jason’s sentiments.
“We hope everybody is as excited as we are because Isuzu, the number one truck brand in the Philippines, is finally in Subic! This brings each and every one of us wonderful business opportunities in the region, not only locally but internationally as well,” the company chair noted.
“Throughout this entire endeavor, we have worked hard in trying to get this business up and running, everybody invited here has positively influenced us, helped us set this business up or are business partners. We are eternally grateful for your support, and we wish to strengthen our partnership and friendship for many generations to come,” he added.
Moreover, IPC — which is now 25 years old — is targeting to further boost its market leadership in the truck segment in the country.
