Isuzu is set to release an updated version of the Mu-X in Thailand.
The teaser video posted over Isuzu Thailand’s official Youtube channel yesterday (June 6) had the phrases “Mu-X. The Next Peak. Coming Soon.”
Judging from the short video, the vehicle will likely be fitted with a new headlamp design and an RS badge, which could be the model’s new trim in Thailand.
In addition, the midsize sport utility vehicle will probably have sharper looks, based on the silhouette seen in the material.
While not much details have been shared as of the time of publishing, Carmudi Philippines is assuming that the SUV will probably have the 3.0-liter and 1.9-liter diesel engines under the hood of the arriving model—similar to the ones available in the outgoing version.
Just like the outgoing Thai-spec version, the new Isuzu Mu-X could also be outfitted with a myriad of technological features like the adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking as well as safety features like pedal misapplication mitigation, auto high beam, multi-collision brake, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and rear-cross traffic alert.
As far as the local market is concerned, the soon-to-be-launched Isuzu Mu-X in Thailand might not arrive yet in the country as Isuzu Philippines Corporation just gave the model a minor refresh last February following its mid-cycle update in 2023.
