The cat is finally out of the bag. Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will be officially introducing the all-new mu-X on September 22.
With its highly-awaited launch, the local distributor already made the announcement following the invite sent over to the motoring media.
“Join us as we unveil a new level of SUV that exudes quintessential luxury, providing confidence in every drive pushing you further to “Take the Lead,” the invite noted.
The launching will take place after a reliable source told Carmudi Philippines that the online reveal will be moved to the fourth week instead of the previously reported second week of September.
The forthcoming Isuzu mu-X will likely have the two will be offered in two engine options, which are the 4JJ-TCX (3.0liter Ddi Blue Power) and the 1.9 RZ4E-TC (1.9 Blue Power Gen 2). Either of these two will be seen powering the five variants that could possibly be retailed in the local market namely:
Further, the all-new mu-X will be retailed in the following colors: Marrakesh Brown (new), Satin White Pearl (new), Onyx Black, Mercury Silver and Splash White.
The upcoming midsize sport utility vehicle will be competing with the updated version of the new Nissan Terra that was launched last September 1 as well as other heavyweights like Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Montero.
