Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will only release 200 units of the D-Max Limited.
The aforementioned number was bared by Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos during the offering's recent unveiling.
“This is only limited to 200 units, so it’s up for grabs,” Carlos told Carmudi Philippines.
The new Isuzu D-Max Limited boasts cosmetic and performance appointments like a new grille, sporty and sleek decals, a more aggressive set of wheels, variant-specific floormats, as well as a tuned suspension system.
Per Carlos, the reason why the Japanese automaker’s local arm was prompted to release a “limited” variant is due to the result of its market study.
“We always have this market survey, customer survey for their [customers> needs and wants. Then surprisingly our Filipino customers who drive a pickup, they are now really smart in choosing their vehicle. They are not only looking for aesthetics but also performance. So, that’s why we came up with this Isuzu D-Max Limited,” Carlos noted.
“We combined the form and function,” he explained.
“When I say form as you can see the exterior the body graphics, the blacked-out grille, and the side step board, these are actually the aesthetics that give the D-Max Limited a more macho and more tough look. But on top of that, this should be a performance-fit vehicle. So that’s why the Boondock specs that they had before — the nitrogen-charged shock absorbers, plus the all-terrain tires, and the rear shackles — we also equipped to this Limited model so it can go too any muddy, river crossing, any terrain,” boasted the IPC Assistant Division Head for Sales.
The Isuzu D-Max Limited is priced at P1.58 million.
