Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) announced that it has sold 10,000 units of its lightweight truck offering Traviz in the country.
The newest achievement was reached within the month after the model was introduced to the country in November 2019, showing that the vehicle immediately gained popularity and has become one of the best options for last-mile delivery options in the market.
The customer who got the 10,000th unit was Microserver-8 Enterprises, one of the emerging office equipment and computer accessory suppliers in the country.
IPC President Noboru Murakami handed over the vehicle, a special award, as well as additional P10,000 cash and P10,000 worth of parts and service to Microserver-8 Enterprises Purchasing Head Sherrie Mae Pag-Ong in a simple ceremony held at Isuzu Manila.
Joining Murakami are IPC Assistant Sales Division Head Hiroto Nakaguro, Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos, Department Head Mario Ojales, together with Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) Business Operations Head Johnny Fetalvero and Isuzu Manila Branch Head Art Silvestre.
“Our business operates both in the NCR and Mindanao region and the Traviz has been our choice of truck due its big cargo capacity, easy serviceability, and nationwide parts availability. In our line of business, our vehicle uptime is very important, and with the Traviz, we can be assured of its reliability on the road and durability that the truck will last a long time,” Pag-Ong said.
The Microserver-8 Enterprises representative noted that the firm — who has been using the truck since 2021 — is receiving good feedback from its drivers, making the Traviz a reliable "profit partner."
For his part, the newly-appointed IPC president highlighted the Traviz advantage to customers.
“Now that we are facing an all-time high on fuel prices, the Traviz provides a viable solution, proven to be fuel efficient, the Traviz can run more than 1,000 kilometers in just one full tank based on our recent fuel economy drive. It also can carry more cargo with its 1,660-kilogram payload capacity that would lessen your trips in operation,” he said.
Prior to reaching the feat, IPC shared that the model cornered 32-percent of the cab and chassis market last month with the Traviz.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the 10,000th-unit sales achievement, IPC launched a promotion for existing and potential Traviz customers.
IPC said that a total of 10,000 liters worth of fuel will be raffled off and given away to 500 customers nationwide from June 10 to August 31.
Current owners and possible buyers of the Isuzu Traviz will also be given an additional P10,000 cash referral bonus on top of the P10,000 referral fee that the company already offers.
Further, present owners of the aforementioned model can also avail the following discounts for parts and service:
The promo can be availed at any authorized Isuzu dealer, branch and satellite locally.
