JAC PH to display new X100 at MIAS

JAC Philippines is set to showcase its latest offering to the market at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show: the new X100 light commercial vehicle.

Dubbed as the “Jac of all trades,” the upcoming offer is said to be highly versatile.

In a statement, the JAC Philippines said that the new JAC X100 is offered in three configurations: cab-and-chassis, aluminum van, or FB body that can be utilized as a delivery truck for one’s business needs, a shuttle service for employees or a weekend getaway vehicle for the family.

Powering the new JAC X100 is a Euro4-compliant 1.8-liter turbodiesel engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission that can deliver 67 horses and up to 170Nm of torque. The power mill utilizes an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) that is said to “minimize air pollution and promote further heat transfer and increased fuel mileage.”

Its fuel tank can carry 65 liters--making it ready for long drives.

The vehicle is also designed to haul as much as one metric ton of load.

Further, the new JAC X100 is also fitted with light steering, power windows and side mirrors, built-in front air-conditioning, and optional rear air-conditioner.

Below are the introductory prices for the new JAC X100:

• JAC X100 Cab-and-Chassis: P790,000 
• JAC X100 FB Body: P899,000
• JAC X100 Aluminum Van: to be announced

Moreover, the new JAC X100 comes with a three-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty.
