The Jaguar I-Pace has received a mild facelift, the British carmaker announced.
As Jaguar introduces the 2024 model year, the Coventry-based brand’s first electric vehicle gets a more distinct design. And while it does not altogether change the look of the crossover electric sport utility vehicle (SUV), it does make its front end look smoother and more elegant.
Jaguar now outfitted the 2024 I-Pace with a sleek grille, finished in Atlas Gray, dropping the previous gloss black lozenge-patterned face. Likewise, the vertical blades at the outside of the front apertures of the I-Pace are now coated in the same gray paint. Highlighting the front end is a new black-and-silver Jaguar badge.
Further, Jaguar painted the 2024 I-Pace’s bumper finishers, lower door finishers, and rear diffuser in the same color as the car’s body instead of Gloss Black. Meanwhile, select models get a discreet tailgate spoiler.
In addition, the wheels on all 2024 Jaguar I-Pace variants are now diamond-turned, while the striking 22-inch Style 5069 wheels now have a Satin Gray finish to complement its carbon fiber inserts. All 22-inch wheels, per Jaguar, may be specified with self-sealing, all-season tires.
However, those who still want a touch of black in their SUVs can opt for the Black Pack appearance package — available on all variants from R-Dynamic SE. This optional add-on gives the Jaguar I-Pace Gloss Black trims on the grille surround, window surrounds, door mirror caps, and rear badges.
Moreover, Jaguar is offering a contrasting panoramic roof, which gives the rear section of the I-Pace’s roof a beautiful black finish.
The 2024 Jaguar I-Pace retains its powertrain, meaning it will still be powered by dual motors integrated into the front and rear axles. Performance-wise, this setup reportedly gives the Jaguar I-Pace a maximum power output of 394 horsepower with a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour (kph).
From a standstill, the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace can zoom to 100kph in 4.8 seconds.
In terms of technology, the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace features the intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android Auto, integrated Alexa voice control, Spotify, and what3words navigation. The SUV can also be kept up-to-date thanks to its software-over-the-air update compatibility.
The 2024 Jaguar I-Pace lineup consists of four variants: R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE, R-Dynamic HSE, and 400 Sport. Availability, on the other hand, will depend on the market.
