Newest offering wears P4.79-M price tag
MANILA: Jeep Philippines has reintroduced the Wrangler Four-Door Sport in the country — expanding the nameplate’s lineup to four.
Last retailed in the country in 2021, the relaunched variant serves as the Wrangler's entry-level trim under its local stable .
Per Inchcape Philippines, the comebacking offering attests to its goal of providing quality products and excellent customer service.
Engineered with a stance built for outdoors, the Ohio-built model is 4,785 millimeters (mm) long; 1,874 mm wide, and 1,869 mm tall.
Its 3,007-mm wheelbase wheelbase provides ample room for five people while its 864-mm wading capability makes it more than capable of guarantees peace of mind during river crossings.
The Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Sport features an updated front fascia that carries the seven-slat grille design and a molded black front bumper. Its daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, premium reflector headlamps, automatic headlamps with off-time delay are fully illuminated with light-emitting diodes (LED).
To its side are the signature matte black Jeep badge that complements the black door handles and squarish side mirrors as well as the Wrangler decal.
From the showroom, the vehicle is off-roading ready as it also wears 17-inch gray aluminum wheels wrapped in 245/75 all-terrain tires.
At the vehicle’s rear are a pair of LED tail lights, rear window wiper and washer, and a full-size spare tire.
The Jeep brand’s signature open-air driving can be enjoyed once the black three-piece hard top is removed.
Inside, the Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Sport welcomes occupants with a refined cabin designed with good ergonomics.
Its heritage-inspired center stack has an instrument panel with soft-touch surfaces (either in fabric or polyurethane) with contrast accent stitching.
The front row is outfitted with a seven-inch digital instrument cluster manually-adjustable seats, heated multifunction steering wheel and illuminated cup holders.
Sitting in the middle of the dashboard is an all-new 12.3-inch touchscreen that is Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto-ready — the most advanced and largest display ever offered on Wrangler. It is matched to a nine-speaker Alpine Premium set-up.
The said system also has the following technologies:
A fifth-generation Uconnect 5 system (which sits on top of the center stack) delivers operating speeds five times faster compared to the previous generation.
Other convenience amenities of the Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Sport are the remote start system, USB Type C ports and numerous 12-volt accessory outlets.
Under the hood of the Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Sport is a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain combination is guaranteed to deliver up to 268 horsepower and 400 Newton-meters of torque.
The comebacking model is capable of overcoming any terrain as it is equipped with a Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system, Dana M186 Front Axle, Dana M200 Rear Axle, and skid plates for the gearbox, transfer case, and fuel tank.
The Jeep Wrangler Four-Door Sport is equipped with advanced features that will make driving safer.
Its host of driver-assistive components include adaptive cruise control with stop, selec-speed control, brake assist, electronic roll mitigation, anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes electronic stability control, forward collision warning, hill start assist, traction control, trailer sway damping, rear park assist system, and back-up camera.
Available in Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, Bright White and Black, the New Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sport comes with a P4.79-million price tag.
As an introductory offer, the first 50 customers who will purchase the model will get a complimentary set of half-doors.
