Jetour Auto hits 720K-unit global sales mark

Jetour Auto has sold more than 720,000 units around the world since the marque had its inception in 2018.

In a statement from Jetour Auto Philippines, its parent company reached the aforementioned milestone 55 months after the brand’s first vehicle was delivered to its customer.

Per JAPI, Jetour reached the 500,000-example mark in the first four years of doing business around the world.

“Because of its ongoing expansion efforts to global markets, Jetour aims to achieve the same sales output in 2023 alone. It has sold 200,000 vehicles from January to May this year and is well on track to sell 500,000 units by the end of the year,” JAPI shared.

Further, the global brand is eyeing to hit the one-million-unit sales mark in 2025 and sell 1.27 million examples in 2027.

According to JAPI, the marque’s success is attributed to its innovative products and strategic positioning. The company's various models are developed under the "Travel+" product development strategy, which focuses on providing consumers with a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable travel experience. 

Jetour Auto is now present in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Locally, Jetour said that it is leveraging on products that are competitively priced and are aimed to meet the demands of “value-oriented consumers who put a premium on quality, design, and technology in their car purchases.”

To note, JAPI made its public introduction at the Manila International Auto Show 2023 last April.

Despite starting its sales only in April 2023, JAPI aims to sell more than a thousand units by the end of the year. JAPI’s roster are the X70 and X70 Plus, Dashing, and Ice Cream EV that are all packaged with a six-year or one-million-kilometer general warranty, and 10-year or one-million-kilometer engine warranty.

Relatedly, JAPI is targeting nearly 20 dealerships and service centers to become operational by the end of 2023. As of the moment, JAPI has authorized dealerships in in Alabang, Bacolod, Batangas, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Cubao, Davao, Eton Centris, Fairview, General Santos, Iloilo, Isabela, Las Piñas, Pampanga, Pasay, and Quezon Avenue.
