According to Jetour Philippines, a Jetour car owner can expend to budget a little over P1,000 a month for maintenance.Per the official distributor of Jetour vehicles in the country, its new six-year PMS plan will not only provide its customers with a transparent aftersales service but also help its Jetour car owners prepare in advance for the servicing needs of their cars.
“Jetour Auto Philippines aims to position its prices at very affordable rates for every Filipino to make car ownership a hassle-free experience. Through this structured service schedule, Jetour owners can plan their expenses based on the servicing needs of their vehicles. JAPI will be open with our service rates which will have reasonable pricing. Moreover, PMS parts availability will be assured so that every Jetour vehicle on the road will receive the care and attention needed for reliable and worry-free driving,” commented JAPI Aftersales Director Eryx Guiang.
According to JAPI, its comprehensive PMS expenditure chart suggests two servicing schedules at 5,000 kilometers (km) and 10,000km each. During the said service intervals, JAPI stated that a quick oil change is undertaken.
JAPI’s trained technicians, the carmaker pointed out, will inspect various car components at the 10,000-km interval to ensure they are all in optimum working condition. The two service visits in year one will only cost an owner a little over P8,000.
At the 20,000-kilometer interval, on the other hand, PMS will include the replacement of spark plugs, the cabin filter, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF), and coolant, among others. JAPI said that a Jetour owner will most likely spend more than P15,000 in year two for the 15,000 and 20,000-km service intervals.
For the third year — or as the vehicle reaches 25,000 and 30,000-kilometer driving distance — a Jetour owner will spend in the range of P8,000 for oil changes and PMS, said the carmaker’s local arm.
In year four (or when the car hits its 35,000 and 40,000-km service marks) a Jetour owner will have to allocate around P18,000 for oil change and serpentine belt replacement. The latter ensures the engine’s various accessories and ancillaries work in sync with the combustion process.
Meanwhile, Jetour car owners will have to spend around P8,000 for both oil changes and PMS done at the 45,000 and the 50,000-km service intervals in year five.
Finally, in year six, a Jetour automobile will require the replacement of oils, spark plugs, the cabin filter, the ATF, and various fluids, after clocking in 60,000km.
“Over the first six-year period of ownership, Jetour customers will spend approximately P22,000 on oil changes and around P38,000 on PMS parts inspection and replacement. That comes to about P75,000 or so per year or a little over P1,000 a month,” JAPI wrote in a press release.
The abovementioned six-year PMS plan laid for its customers is part of the brand’s Travel+ philosophy, which aims to ensure Jetour owners create lasting memories with their drives and journeys.
