JMC PH to expand lineup with Grand Avenue introduction

The model will be revealed at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.To serve as the brand’s flagship model in the country, the upcoming Chinese pick-up truck — which will be the biggest model in the category locally — shall be officially unveiled at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.
Per JMC Philippines, the Grand Avenue combines power, strength, dependability, and excitement that “sets a higher bar for innovation and performance in the world of pickups.”
While JMC Philippines only gave teasers about the arriving model, here are some bits of information about the vehicle’s specifications seen in other countries.
Abroad, the JMC Grand Avenue is 5,450 millimeters (mm) long; 1,935 mm wide; and 1,872 mm tall with a 3,270 mm wheelbase. On the other hand, its cargo bed is 1,546 mm long; 1,595 mm wide; and 546 mm deep.
Its notable exterior features are squared illumination and wheel aches to match the beefy look. Complementing the said designs are the 15-centimeter side steps, and doors that swing open to as much as 75 degrees.
Meanwhile, the JMC Grand Avenue’s interior overseas are outfitted with keyless entry and push start button; 10-inch touchscreen display with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity (mated to a four-speaker set-up); 3.5-inch digital cluster gauge, and leather steering wheel with paddle shifters.
Since JMC Philippines mentioned in its statement that the soon-to-be-revealed offering will be powered by a diesel engine, Carmudi Philippines is speculating that the local version will be equipped with a 2.3-liter Puma turbo diesel engine that can deliver 175 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque.
The transmission options for the JMC Grand Avenue in other countries are the six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission — but we think that the local version will be fitted with only the latter option.
