Kawasaki Breaks Cover on Supercharged Z H2 at Tokyo Motor Show
The new flagship of Kawasakiâs Z line bares its bones at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show this week. With 197 hp and 137 Nm coming from its 998 cc supercharged liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, the H2 is undeniably a Z in every way. Weighing in at 239 kgs, the new bike undeniably possesses aesthetics that seem lifted from the Ninja H2.
The bike has no body work to speak of, so the standout green framework makes for a style-enhancing element. Likewise, the sharply contoured LED headlights and minimal aerodynamics won't provide any substantial wind protection, but speed isn't exactly what naked bikes are made for, and so the Z H2 should appeal to riders looking for a versatile multi-purpose street ride.
