Kia EV6 earns 5-star rating from Euro NCAP
Kia’s all-electric EV6 crossover SUV was awarded a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP). Europe’s leading independent safety testing organization honored the Kia EV6 with the highest possible rating thanks to its impressive safety credentials.

In addition, Euro NCAP found that the Kia EV6’s front seats and head restraints offered good protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end collision.
Euro NCAP also lauded the EV6’s Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system as it responded well to other vehicles and avoided impacts in most test scenarios.
Other safety features highlighted by EuroNCAP were the EV6’s Multi-Collision Braking (MCB) system that automatically applies the brakes after an impact to avoid secondary collisions and an eCall system that alerts the emergency services in the event of a crash.
The Kia EV6 is built on the brand’s high-strength Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) which uses ultra-high tensile steel and extensive hot-stamping in the production process that results in an impressive torsional rigidity.
The Kia EV6 is available in the European market with prices starting from £41,695 and in the US with a price tag that starts from US$40,900.
