To make its light truck offering more attainable to customers, Kia Philippines has relaunched its recent sales promotion called “Kargado Karavan.”
Under the initiative (which will run up the end of March this year), the Ayala-backed automotive marque will offer deals such as cash discounts of up to P80,000; 20-percent down payment (through financing with partners Bank of the Philippine Islands, China Bank Savings, or Philippine National Bank); Blaupunkt safety and security packages; as well as Caltex fuel cards.
The attractive terms can be availed at the following Kia dealerships: Alabang, Ortigas, New Manila, Sta. Rosa in Laguna, Sto. Tomas in Batangas, Pampanga, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao.
In a statement, the South Korean brand’s local distributor expressed confidence in the capabilities of the Kia K2500 light truck in meeting the needs of business owners.
The company boasted that the vehicle — the sole model in its category that offers a 4x4 powertrain — can provide maximum traction “despite drastic changes in weather and road conditions.” The Kia K2500 also has a ground clearance of 200 millimeters.
Powering the Kia K2500 is a 2.5-liter common rail direct-injected turbo diesel engine that has a peak churn of 128 horsepower and 255Nm of torque. The mill is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Guaranteeing safety further on the road is the load-sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) that regulates hydraulic pressure to the rear brakes depending on the payload.
The Kia K2500 comes in 4x2 and 4x4 Single Cab and Chassis and 4x4 Single and Double Cab Dropside. The single-cab varieties can seat three adults, while double-cab versions can seat six.
Further, the Kia K2500 can be had in various body configurations that can be ordered as dealer options. The K2500 4x4 has a 1,353-kilogram (kg) payload capacity for the single-cab option and a 1,204kg payload capacity for the double-cab trim. The K2500 4x4 single-cab “Kargo” closed-van can carry up to 953kg. The K2500 double-cab dropside can haul up 1,204kg.
In addition, every brand-new Kia K2500 is packaged with a three-year or 110,000 kilometers warranty (whichever comes first) and three-year free 24/7 roadside assistance.
In case of untoward incidents, Kia Philippines assured that it has a large stock of readily-available parts and a nationwide network of service centers that are always ready to serve that will reduce any potential downtime.
