Kia Philippines announced that for a limited time, customers may buy the Forte for only P869,000.
In a statement, the Ayala-led company slashed P226,000 off the car's original price— bringing it to within the price range of a subcompact sedan. To note, the Korean compact car model’s LX trim original retail price is P1.095 million.
Powering the Kia Forte LX is a 1.6-liter gasoline engine that is matched to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. The power mill provides a maximum churn of 128hp and 155Nm of pulling power. The vehicle sits on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the vehicle is fitted with an eight-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The aforementioned variant also comes equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.
The Kia Forte — which was the winner of J.D. Power’s 2019 United States Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) Study for the compact car segment — boasts a spacious leg- and headroom.
Kia Philippines also shared that the unibody of the Forte assures substantial torsional rigidity that can protect occupants against impact forces in the event of a collision and absorbs light for more relaxed journeys.
Further, the Kia Forte LX is equipped with a host of features such as driver and front passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes, an anti-theft system with immobilizer, and rear-camera display with park guide.
Moreover, the discounted price tag comes with a five-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, as well as round-the-clock roadside assistance that can be availed for free during the five-year period (which covers emergency towing, personal assistance, minor onsite repair, medical assistance, and information service).
