Kia presents Concept EV3, Concept EV4
Kia has presented two concept vehicles at the ongoing 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, namely the Concept EV3 and Concept EV4.

According to Kia, the EV9 can sustain a typical household’s energy consumption for up to several days.The Concept EV3 is a compact crossover that offers the technology, practicality, and design of Kia’s flagship sport utility vehicle, the EV9. Its exterior boasts notable design elements such as a sloping roofline, a disconnected C-pillar that links the glasshouse surfaces with a floating roof effect, and robust squared wheel arches cut with asymmetrical angles.
Inside, the Concept EV3 was designed to create an ambiance that promotes emotional well-being thanks to soft mood lighting and ultra-clean dashboard surfacing. It also gets advanced ergonomic seat designs comprised of natural fiber structures to deliver a lightweight, slimmer seat design.
Meanwhile, the Concept EV4 is an electric sedan designed with a harmonious blend of geometric diagonal character lines and rich yet technical surfaces. According to Kia, the exterior of the EV is reminiscent of sports and racing cars and showcases the brand’s determination to push design boundaries.
The interior of the Concept EV4 flaunts a sleek and spacious horizontal layout with an innovative HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) user interface and pin-style air vents that can change patterns. It also features handwoven fabric stripes on the storage area and dashboard as well as natural dyes and recycled cotton in the cabin.
“In the realm of design, sustainability is not just a choice — it's a powerful statement. It’s about creating beauty with a purpose, where every material tells a story of responsible innovation and lasting impact,” Kia Design Center America Chief Designer Tom Kearns explained.
In addition to the presented concept cars, Kia also showcased the transformative potential of the vehicle-to-home feature of the Kia EV9.
Per the Hyundai-owned company, the said technology will allow the Kia EV9 to be plugged into the Wallbox Quasar 2 (coming in the future) — an innovative, 11.5-kilowatt direct current charger that is expected to facilitate bidirectional charging.
Using the Kia EV9’s battery, the said technology is said to be able to sustain a typical household’s energy consumption for up to several days.
Sitting close to the Kia EV9 display at CES 2024 is the EV6 demonstration, which offers a similar function on a smaller scale. The EV’s vehicle-to-load technology can supply up to 1,900 watts of power to certain electrical appliances, devices, tools, or recreational equipment.
