Kia revives GT-Line S variant for UK-spec Ceed, ProCeed models
Kia announced that it has brought back the GT-Line S variant for its Ceed and ProCeed models sold in the United Kingdom (UK).

The Kia Ceed GT-Line S is priced at £31,145 (P2.062 million) while the Kia ProCeed GT-Line S is priced at £32,245 (P2.134 million).According to the South Korean brand, the said trim level was brought back due to insistent public demand and further extends the range for both models. Prior to the re-introduction of the GT-Line S, the range-topping variant for both models was the GT-Line.
The new range-topping variant comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection (T-GDi) engine mated to a seven-speed double-clutch transmission. While the other variants of the Ceed and ProCeed nameplates get the same 1.5-liter T-GDi mill, they are paired with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

In the UK, the Kia Ceed GT-Line S is priced at £31,145 (about P2.062 million). Meanwhile, the Kia ProCeed GT-Line S has a sticker price of £32,245 (approximately P2.134 million).
“The Ceed model family is a key contributor to Kia’s long-term success in the UK. In 2022, the range helped the brand on its way to the milestone of selling more than 100,000 cars in a single year for the first time. The Ceed family, consisting of the Ceed hatchback, ProCeed, Sportswagon, and XCeed, accounted for almost 20 percent of all Kia’s UK sales in 2022,” Kia said in a press release.
