A total of six Philippine-spec Kia Soluto units have been chosen to power the fleet of Metro Pharma Philippines, Inc. (MPPI).
In a statement, the Ayala-backed automotive firm said that the Philippine-based search and development pharmaceutical company picked the Kia Soluto LX AT to be utilized by its hardworking and dedicated field representatives.
“After extensive research, we found that the Soluto ticks all of the right boxes and exceeds our requirements,” MPPI President and Chief Executive Officer Rush Kimhoko was quoted as saying. “The coverage of our medical representatives brings them to the busiest and most congested areas in the city, so we need a vehicle that is proven to be comfortable, reliable, easy to park and maneuver, and efficient. And because it represents our company, it must also be stylish.”
Powering the sedan is a 1.4-liter Dual-CVVT gasoline engine that can provide a peak churn of nearly 94 horses and 132 Newton-meters of torque.
Those who will use the vehicle are also bound to enjoy a standard seven-inch touchscreen audio system that has Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity. It is mated to a six-speaker system, rearview camera, and steering wheel controls.
“It is essential that the vehicle we offer to our valued customers fits this very unique and demanding industry,” Iconic Dealership Inc. Functional Director for Sales Patty Echivarre mentioned. “Every kilometer that is traveled is considered, so efficiency is key. Of course, the sedan must also have the convenience and connectivity features to make the hours spent on the road by representatives as comfortable as possible.”
Meanwhile, Kia Philippines Chief Operating Officer Brian Buendia expressed firm belief that the Soluto is ideal for people who are constantly on the move.
“And to avoid any potential downtime, there is an entire Kia dealership network that is ready with parts and service for any unforeseen circumstances,” he assured.
Similar to those offered in most of the models within its lineup, Kia Philippines shared that the vehicle is packaged with a comprehensive warranty coverage. It has a five-year or 160,000-kilometer general warranty, whichever comes first, 24/7 emergency roadside assistance. Also, its periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule is only once every six months, or every 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
