Kia teases all-new Niro ahead of global debut

In a recent press release, Kia has revealed a few teaser photos of the upcoming Niro. The new crossover is slated to play an integral role in the South Korean carmaker’s growing eco-friendly lineup.

According to Kia, the Niro has been redesigned using the brand’s Opposites United design philosophy allowing the Niro to illustrate and display the company’s commitment to sustainability.

Looking at the photos, the new Niro seems to sport a radical and bold look. The silhouettes of the environmentally sound crossover are reminiscent of the similarly climate-friendly version of the 2023 Kia Sportage.

The interior snapshots of the new Niro somewhat point to the new model having an extended infotainment system, again, similar to the recently revealed Sportage.

No details have been disclosed but it’s expected that the new Niro will have at least a hybrid powerplant like its predecessors. The Kia Niro will officially be unveiled in the upcoming 2021 Seoul Mobility Show which happens on November 25, 2021.
