In a statement, Araneta City Bus Station Property Manager Mon Legazpi assured the public of their safety as buses in the area accommodate more commuters in time for the Lenten season.

Araneta City said that all buses are equipped with a QR code for passenger contact tracing as mandated by the regulating body. Aside from that, every bus gets sanitized and disinfected during drop-off intervals, bus drivers and personnel are regularly tested for COVID-19 and passengers are required to wear face masks all the time.

“The public are also encouraged to strictly follow existing health precautions and social distancing measures. Passengers may be asked to present a vaccination ID or any proof of vaccination,” Legazpi added.

Further, Araneta City said that buses going to and from Pampanga and Bulacan are operational in its bus station and discounts for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities (PWD) are acknowledged and granted.
