Lalamove launches campaign to safeguard driver-partners
Local courier Lalamove recently launched its latest campaign for partner-drivers to help them "level up in life."
Dubbed as the #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign, Lalamove is extending generous incentives and multi-functional benefits to support, motivate, and empower partner drivers that would help them continuously improve its services.
Operating since 2016, Lalamove has already given its partner drivers a long list of benefits through its Panalomove program. Offered in Manila, Cebu and, just recently, Pampanga, Lalamove continues to enhance the wide array of benefits and assistance services it and its partners have to offer.
Included in the latest campaign are according driver partners' personal benefits (personal accident insurance, free medical consultation), and vehicular support (various fuel discounts, vehicle maintenance services and even vehicular acquisition through the support of Panalomove partners).
The e-identification card given to verified driver-partners fundamentally opens doors to a lot of welfare offerings of Lalamove's #UpgradeSaBuhay. However, some of Lalamove's benefits partners like vehicle financing may require additional documents to claim products or services.
Lalamove driver-partner Mark Ericksson Crespo said that the benefits Lalamove has provided them helps them ease the troubles while on the road.
"Para sa akin, magandang tulong po yung benepisyo ng Lalamove kasi po sa kalsada po kami nag tratrabho. Syempre po kapag po may aksidente, maganda po yung kahit papaano, may konting tulong po kaming makukuha (For me, it’s reassuring that Lalamove provides benefits since our job puts us on the road most of the time. Should there be an accident that occurred, it’s good to know that we will receive some assistance)," Crespo said.
Fellow driver-partner John Malanom claimed that vehicle maintenance assistance is useful benefit to them. “Malaking tulong ang vehicle maintenance benefits ng partners ng Lalamove dahil kailangang kailangan namin ang aming sasakyan para kumita (The vehicle maintenance benefits are very useful because our productivity relies on our vehicles),” Malanom noted.
Further, Lalio Montibon, another driver-partner, expounded on the importance of using his mobile phone that Lalamove helps them to afford to complete their tasks.
“Importanteng lagi kaming may load para sa pantawag at data kasi ito ang paraan para makakuha ng booking at makatawag sa mga kliyente. Nakakatuwa na pwede kaming makakuha ng murang cellphone at pang load sa tulong ng Lalamove (It is important that the mobile phones we use have sufficient load every time to call the customers and mobile data to get bookings. It’s delightful that we can get affordable cell phones and load credits with the help of Lalamove)," Montibon highlighted.
Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Dannah Majarocon pointed out the fact that the company has numerous partners in their Panalomove program.
"To date, we have a total of 36 partners in our Panalomove program, with the initial goal to equip our driver-partners with the essentials in addressing their personal and vehicular needs. We hope that with our #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign, more and more partner drivers will become financially independent and safe on the road, especially during this pandemic." Majarocon was quoted as saying.
