Lamborghini has designed a special Aventador dedicated to its Korean customers.
Dubbed the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series, this limited-edition Aventador is a joint project developed by the folks from Automobili Lamborghini and Lamborghini Seoul. The Italian designers at Centro Stile led the project while their Korean counterparts provided inputs to create a sports car that connects the spirit of Korea and Italy.
“We are excited to introduce the highly exclusive Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series to Lamborghini enthusiasts in Korea. This special series further highlights the importance of the Korean super sports car market for Lamborghini. Featuring design elements that symbolize the rich Korean culture and heritage, it definitely stands out and inculcates a strong sense of national pride when it’s on the Korean roads,” said Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific Regional Director Francesco Scardaoni.
Showcasing rich Korean tradition and true Italian beauty, the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series can be had in two unique finishes: Green Ocno and Blue Emera. The former is said to symbolize “warm Korean sentiment” while the latter signifies “intelligence and wisdom.”
Both Aventadors feature a graphic pattern on the front bonnet, left and right door panels, and rear fender. The special graphic accent, a criss-cross of both vertical and horizontal lines, mimics that of traditional Korean windows. In addition, the engine room of both Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series models features the two trigrams of the Korean flag — Geon and Gam — instilling a sense of patriotism among Koreans.
Inside these Aventadors is a specially designed interior called Bianco Leda. The elements of the interior layout echo the graphic pattern of the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series’ exterior but offer a contrasting effect with an abundance of white and red accents.
Power will come from a naturally-aspirated 740hp V12 engine which brings the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series from standstill to 100kph in just three seconds.
Lamborghini Seoul Representative Director Frank Steinleitner commented, “Together with Automobili Lamborghini Centro Stile, we have uniquely developed the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series that are made exclusively available only for Korea. The entire development process from conceptualization to production has been an enriching one and we look forward to introducing more special editions to our discerning clients in Korea.”
The Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series will only be limited to two units in Korea making it a highly exclusive collector’s item.
