Lamborghini Branches Out to E-Bikes
Automobili Lamborghini has partnered with Italtechnology to present its first-ever line of e-bikes that carry the prestigious Lamborghini name. The Italian supercar company unveiled its latest product at the Museo Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
The e-bikes, created by Italtechnology for Lamborghini, currently consist of two models, a mountain bike and a road bike. The former is designed for dynamic lifestyle and outdoor activities, while the latter is dedicated for customers who have a need for speed, as the two-wheeler can quickly reach the maximum e-bike speed permitted by current international regulations.
Both e-bikes are being touted as "true masterpieces of advanced technology, aimed at an exclusive and demanding clientele." The bikes were conceived, designed and built entirely in Italy, and are the result of a five-year research period in order to ensure technological innovation and cutting edge design. To prove the state-of-the-art nature of the bikes, Lamborghini boasted that these carry four international patents in all.
Aimed at the most demanding of clientele, Lamborghini's e-bikes have been included into the company's prestigious "Ad Personam" program, which allows owners to customize their bikes using paint colors reserved for Lamborghini's supercars.
The e-bikes will be available online and through select international retailers starting next month. The price of the bikes are yet to be announced.
