Lamborghini opens renovated museum

Lamborghini has officially reopened its museum after being renovated.

Updates to the museum, according to the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based marque, include a modernized layout and design.

Further, the opening of the renovated museum marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic Italian automotive brand .

“2023 will be a year full of original activities and developments, which opens with this new museum destination. We will celebrate our first sixty years through international events, initiatives and unexpected activities, which we will reveal during the year,” said Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann.

Lamborghini is also staging an exhibit at the museum, dubbed “The Future Began in 1963.”

According to Lamborghini, the abovementioned exhibit retraces the most emblematic eras and representative moments that mark the history of Lamborghini's first 60 years.

Featured are 19 cars that tell the story of the brand’s evolution.

These include heritage models like the Lamborghini 350GT, Lamborghini Miura S, and Lamborghini Espada; contemporary nameplates such as the Lamborghini Diablo GT, Lamborghini Murciélago SV, and the Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Spyder; and “few-off” models like the Lamborghini Reventón, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and the Lamborghini Veneno.

“We started from a challenge that Ferruccio Lamborghini took up at the beginning of the 1960s, which the company developed through pioneering and revolutionary ideas in the years that followed to write the history of the time and deliver innovations that have shaped the path of luxury super sports cars.
Lamborghini always has and always will be a brand that never stops looking to the future,” added Winkelmann.
