Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini showcased a superb lineup of its finest vehicles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last week.
The event, which took place from July 8 to 11, saw the debut of the last Aventador — the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. The last Lambo to sport a naturally aspirated V12 engine can generate a maximum power output of 770 horses with 720Nm of almost instantaneous torque. The 12-cylinder, 6.5-liter “Longitudinale Posteriore” (LP) engine is mated to a seven-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) gearbox.
Its powertrain setup takes the last bull in the Aventador series from standstill to 100 in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 355kph.
Both its coupé and roadster editions were on display at Goodwood.
The track-only, limited-edition hypercar Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 also made an appearance at the Festival of Speed. It was driven by Emanuele Pirro and headed Lamborghini models running “up the hill” in the supercar class.
In addition, the Lamborghini Huracán STO — which was recently included in the video game “Rocket League” — also graced the famed four-day festival.
The Huracán Super Trofeo EVO 2 was also present that day.
Other vehicles from the house of the raging bull that made an appearance in Goodwood include the Huracan EVO road car and Urus Super SUV.
