Lamborghini shows off one-off Huracán Sterrato

Lamborghini has unveiled a one-off Huracán Sterrato dubbed "Opera Unica."

According to the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica — created by the marque’s Ad Personam department — celebrates the company’s 60th anniversary and its heritage of colors.

“The Huracán Sterrato was born from challenging the expected, delivering a super sports car that goes beyond convention. The one-off Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica takes this to another level, and in Lamborghini tradition, draws attention and asks questions of it as an art form. Lamborghini is always touched by the beauty and colors of Sardinia, and this is the perfect opportunity to experiment with a new paint process, explore the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalization, and then present this special Sterrato to our clients and guests in the environment that inspired the blue crystal effect,” commented Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann.

Outside, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica wears a two-tone design with matte black paint covering its roof, sills, front-light casings, wheel arches, as well as its front and rear splitters and fenders.

Meanwhile, the rest of its body is covered in a unique, hand-painted finish that takes inspiration from the marine-blue landscapes and rich colors of Sardinia — a coastal city in Italy. 

The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica rides on a set of 19-inch matte black rims.

Inside, the one-off super sports car flaunts appointments covered in Blu Delphinus leather such as its exposed carbon fiber trims, sports seats, door panels, and console. On the other hand, its dashboard and steering wheel are finished in similarly colored Alcantara leather. 

The lighter shade of Celeste Phoebe leather is used in complementary panels, piping, and embroidery including the Lamborghini logo, recalling the blue of the exterior and the ambiance of a maritime lifestyle.

Other notable interior features come in the form of a special plate denoting it as one of 1499 in a limited series, as well as special plates celebrating “Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023” and Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary.

“Unveiled at the Lamborghini VIP client dinner in Cala di Volpe hotel, the Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica’s arrival was as spectacular as its crystal-blue paint: the 120 guests dining on Matsuhisa Nobu-cuisine in a sea-blue themed environment, were surprised and enthralled by the car’s fitting unveil on the waterside venue on a floating platform, to be presented by Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. A crew of performers and dancers introduced the unveiling moment of the Opera Unica with a special video telling the creation process of the vehicle,” Lamborghini wrote in a press release.
