Automobili Lamborghini will be auctioning off the final Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupe next week.
The aforementioned model will come with a one-of-one non-fungible token (NFT).
The Raging Bull marque’s “Ultimate” drop is the world’s first super sports car NFT, and is produced in collaboration with contemporary artists Krista Kim, Steve Aoki, and global brand storytelling agency Invnt Group.
The next Lamborghini Aventador is said to be powered by a V12-powered plug-in hybrid engine.
Lamborghini Philippines said that aside from owning the ultimate 1:1 NFT Lamborghini collectible, sole winner will have VIP privileges that include exclusive virtual previews of future limited-edition Lamborghini models, a private tour of the Museo Lamborghini, and a virtual meet and greet with Aoki and Kim.
According to the high-performance car manufacturer, the drop is the world’s first NFT ever to be auctioned with a physical super sports car.
“Lamborghini and the NFT community fit together very well as we share many values. This project is very special for us as it is a true first. That we are collaborating with such outstanding creative minds makes it all the more special,” Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann was quoted as saying.
Kim is creating the NFT’s visual artwork, which will feature her infamous Mars House and her signature gradient work. On the other hand, Aoki will provide the custom developed track for the NFT, an exclusive soundtrack for the physical car, and will consult on the design of the NFT and the customization of the physical car.
The bidding will be on April 19 and will be hosted in a dedicated online auction site by RM Sotheby’s.
