Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One, the limited and better-appointed version of the already luxurious Range Rover Sport released in the country not too long ago.
Described by the British automotive marque as “the most powerful and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever,” the opulent sport utility vehicle (SUV) flaunts an exclusive airflow-enhanced front-end, reprofiled lower body sides, and functional carbon fiber-tipped quad tailpipes for the active exhaust system.
Further carbon fiber detailing can be found on the Range Rover script, front bumper blades, grille surround, bonnet vents, and side vents.
Additionally, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One also wears model-specific badges, which are located on the luxury SUV’s front splitter, center console, treadplates, and puddle lamps.
“New Range Rover Sport SV’s clean and reductive design amplifies its dramatic proportions and sporting personality,” commented Jaguar Land Rover Chief Creative Officer Professor Gerry McGovern OBE.
Inside the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One offers front occupants exclusive satin carbon fiber-backed SV Performance Seats with integrated headrests. These, Land Rover pointed out, have more sculpted bolsters and illuminated SV logos on their backrests.
Making its debut on the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is the Body and Soul Seat (BASS), a multi-dimensional audio experience with wellness benefits, which allows front seat occupants to not only hear but also feel the sound.
BASS uses artificial intelligence technology from Subpac as well as transducers aligned to the back of the front seat occupants.
Per Land Rover, BASS analyzes media in real time and generates high-fidelity audio vibrations to create the most engaging and immersive in-car audio.
BASS works in conjunction with the 29-speaker, Meridian Signature Sound System that comes with the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One.
Also found inside the cabin of the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is a larger-than-life 13.1-inch infotainment system with new sidebars that improve control over the SUV’s various features.
“New Range Rover Sport SV exemplifies Range Rover’s philosophy, not just as a bold evolution beyond its Range Rover Sport SVR predecessor, but also in the personalized approach we are taking with our most discerning clients,” Range Rover Managing Director Geraldine Ingham said.
Powering the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is a new 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine that makes around 630 horsepower and 750 Newton-meters of torque.
This setup sends the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One from a standstill to approximately 100 kilometers per hour in 3.6 seconds.
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is reportedly offered only for select clients. All the automobiles of the limited-production model have been allocated to their respective owners.
